AR Application and Contents Terms and Conditions

(hereinafter referred to as: AR System T&C)


General Information

  1. Exclusive owner of the Multilearn.online application (hereinafter: Application):

  2. The Publisher may amend these terms of use in the future. Date of issue of these Terms of Use: 15 April 2025.


Purpose and Use of the Application

  1. Once installed, the Application is designed to display various augmented reality elements triggered and played using the device’s camera and display.

  2. Downloading and installation of the Application by users (hereinafter: User) is free via the Apple App Store and Google Play. The User may install the Application on multiple devices.

  3. Costs are incurred when purchasing publications. Printed or screen publications for testing or displaying promotional content are generally free of charge.

  4. To function, the Application requires permission to use the device's camera solely to recognise special visual elements triggering augmented reality content. The Application does not search for, record, process, or transmit other visual content.

  5. The Application and augmented reality publications have no age restriction, but we recommend them for users over 6 years old unless a publication specifies otherwise.

  6. Display of Augmented Reality Content

    1. The Application's AR camera feature is for testing or displaying promotional augmented reality content. This feature can be used without registration. Test contents help verify device compatibility with the technology, while promotional content serves traditional advertising purposes.

    2. The main mode of operation: viewing augmented reality content. This requires entering the code provided in the publication.

  7. Use of paid augmented reality publications requires registration, which demands a valid user email address. After entering registration data in the Application (email and password), the system sends a confirmation email containing a link to finalise registration. After clicking this link, a webpage confirms successful registration. Logging into the Application is possible only after successful registration.

  8. The Application generates regular network traffic during use, and ensuring this is the User's responsibility.

  9. Continuous internet connection is required for:

    1. User registration.

    2. Playing augmented reality content via the AR camera.

    3. Downloading and periodically updating stored content in the Application.

    4. Viewing certain, usually 2D augmented reality contents.

  10. No continuous internet connection is required to play downloaded content in its current state.

  11. The Publisher guarantees 99% uptime for the Application and AR content.

  12. Further information and product support regarding the Application and AR contents are provided by the Publisher at multilearn.online.


Legal Terms

  1. Conditions of using the Application and other legal information are outlined in this Terms of Use document (hereinafter: Terms of Use) and the multilearn.online Privacy Policy document (hereinafter: Privacy Policy). Acceptance of these by the User is a prerequisite for using the Application; without acceptance, the Application cannot be used.

  2. The Publisher considers Hungarian law as governing the use of the Application, these Terms of Use, and the Privacy Policy. By using the Application, the User consents that Hungarian authorities and courts shall have jurisdiction in case of disputes.

  3. The Publisher guarantees the usability of the application and the related technology, including augmented reality elements, for at least 3 years after purchase. The Publisher aims to maintain software functionality beyond the minimum guaranteed period.

  4. The Publisher is not liable for operational issues caused by app stores or the User's device operating system.


Intellectual Property Terms

  1. All registered or unregistered trademarks, copyrights, and products available within the Application (hereinafter: Intellectual Products) are the intellectual property of the Publisher or third parties providing rights to the Publisher (hereinafter: Third Parties).

  2. Without the Publisher's permission, it is expressly forbidden to use Intellectual Products at public events or for commercial gain.

  3. Users are entitled to use the Application, the augmented reality content available through it, and associated publications in good faith, strictly respecting intellectual property rights and conditions. Violating these rights at any level is prohibited under penalty of criminal prosecution and compensation claims.

  4. Specifically, copying, modifying, capturing images or videos within or outside the device without Publisher permission or authorisation, or using Intellectual Products beyond good faith applications is strictly prohibited. The Publisher will initiate criminal and civil actions against violators. Third Parties associated with the Publisher may also initiate these actions if they identify harm to their own legal interests.
